Rules of blackjack
Blackjack - Rules of online card game
Visitors of a casino play blackjack not vs. themselves, but vs. the croupier. Both sides, taking one card from a deck, try to get 21 point or the result, which is higher than at the contender, but not exceeding 21 points.
Rules:
Cards are distributed from special boxes, containing 6 shuffled decks divided random into two parts. Afterwards in the course of game cards from the first part have been handed out, 6 decks get shuffled and divided again in two.
Rules of points counting. Color of cards has no value.
Ace is equal to 11 or 1, depending on a situation. If the sum of card points to which the ace is handed out, less or is equal 10, the ace is scored, as 11 points, differently (at bust threat) - as one. For example, the ace is handed out to the six, in the sum 17 points - less than 21, therefore the ace reaches the maximum value of 11. If the seven is the following card the ace is considered now to be equal to one point - finally it turns out 14, bust that does not happen. If two aces are handed out at once, one of them is scored for one point.
“Pictures” (kings, ladies, jacks) - 10 points.
Other cards (2, 3 … 9, 10) are considered face value.
Game begins with rates. You can stake several times, and play vs. the croupier from several positions as though other visitors of a casino sat at a table with you.
Having staked, the croupier hands out two cards each player and two cards to himself. Players receive exposed cards. At the croupier only one of two cards is exposed.
Blackjack and the insurance. If the exposed card of the croupier is ace there is a high possibility that the employee of a casino has already scored blackjack (21 point as the sum of values of first two cards - higher of possible results in game). Players, if it is possible to consider, are not lucky men. However they can be insured, having paid half more from the initial stake.
If the player has luck on blackjack he wins with ration 3 to 2 (if he has put the dollar – won two-and-a-half).
“Equal money”. However if the croupier has handed out to himself an ace, and to you blackjack, you will be offered “equal money” you: the player can immediately receive a prize, not in the ration 3 to 2, but in value ration. Having agreed on “a bird in the hand” it leaves game to the end. Having refused you can lose a prize - in a case the croupier has blackjack.
After all persons, who wanted, have paid the insurance, the croupier looks the closed card.
If blackjack is dropped out, the round is considered to be over. Careful gamblers get the insurance sum with stakes back; the careless do not get anything; and lucky ones (who have refused “equal money” with blackjack on hands) safe their money - lose nothing, but also do not win.
If the croupier has no blackjack, the casinos get the insurance sum (half from the initial ration), and game proceeds. The players have the possibility to take in turn by one some cards from the deck to get nearest to 21 sum of points.
Smart money.
Besides, if the croupier has no blackjack, and first pair of cards seems to the player too weak it can refuse game continuation: to quit, having left to casino compensation - half of rate.
Division of cards.
If the player has received two cards identical face value (for example, two seven), it can separate one complete set on two, having added the stake to initial rate. Further he should play as two players.
If the player breaks two aces, he receives only one additional card to each of them.
If after the marked operation of division, and after handing out of all necessary additional cards, in any of complete sets the player has an ace and “picture” or 10 this combination will not be considered blackjack, but fine demand for a victory in 21 point. It is not bad, but the croupier still has chances to reduce party to the nobody’s.
Doubling the Stake. After the first deal, and also after separation of cards of identical face value the player can double the stake, but thus he can count only on one additional card.
Bust. The situation, when the player or the croupier has scored more than 21 points, is called “bust” - the hand comes to an end with a victory of the opponent.
After players will stop to take cards, the lead is transferred to the croupier who should be guided by following rules:
If the sum of points of the croupier is less than 17 he is obliged to take one more card;
If the sum of points of the croupier is more or equal to 17 the croupier should stop.
If the croupier as a result scores more than 21 points, the bank gets to its contenders (who are not bankrupt). The prize ration thus makes 1 to 1 (has put dollar - has returned two).
If the croupier has scored less than 21 points or 21, the sum scored by the player is compared with the sum of the croupier. Summing up the results:
The sum of the player is less than sum of the croupier - the player loses the stake;
The sum of the player is equal to the sum of the croupier - the rate comes back to the player (has not won, but also has not lost);
The sum of the player is more than sum of the croupier - the player wins the sum twice exceeding the stake (has put dollar - has returned two).
Prize-winning combinations. The player can receive even more money, than for blackjack if the sum of its three cards is not simply more than at the croupier, but is equal 21 and grows out of following combinations:
Three 7 of one color (Super 777; we will remind, that game is conducted by six decks, and combinations with identical cards are possible; ration of a prize 5 to 1);
Three 7 (777; ration of a prize 3 to 1)
6-7-8 (the order of delivery of cards has no value; ration of a prize 2 to 1; has put dollar, has returned 3).
Prize-winning combinations are paid only in the case when the sum of combination of the croupier is not equal to 21, and can be formed after division of cards.
After redistribution of monetary weight it is possible to begin a new hand.
